For our latest project we collaborated with our friends at Love Song and Droga5 for Meta’s latest campaign 'Amani' made by directing duo IllimteWorld, with Daniel Wolfe acting as executive producer.
Following Team Amani, a cycling collective from East Africa, we placed 5 different pieces of music for the film. All music was selected from the region ranging from 70’s Kenyan funk band New Gantanga Sound to modern day slngeli artist Bamba Pana.
The project is extremely bittersweet, as TA leader Sule Kangangi tragically died in a high speed crash whilst racing last week.
Team Amani requested we move forward in releasing the film as a living legacy to Sule.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for Sule, who leaves behind a wife and two children, so if you are able to contribute it would be greatly appreciated.
